The SWS series press parts washing systems are large, industrial duty, enclosed chamber wash systems designed for washing flexographic and gravure press parts and a variety of other applications.
The converting industry, using both gravure and flexographic presses, has a need for minimizing make-ready time while reducing employee exposure to cleaning chemicals. PRI's SWS press part washing systems meet these needs as well as reduce chemistry costs, reduce manpower requirements and reduce environmental emissions.
All parts washing systems are "end load" designs in which parts are loaded onto mobile carts and pushed into the unit for a four step cleaning process. Full automation allows operating personnel to perform other duties while the system is in operation.
Solvent based systems can include integral solvent recovery systems allowing continuous reuse of the solvent wash solution. An integral VOC reduction system captures solvent fumes for reuse minimizing fugitive emissions.
PRI can provide non-flammable cleaning solvents that have low emmissions and will clean solvent and water based inks, adhesives and top coats. Ask for information about HCS.
To remove water based chemistries, PRI manufactures washers that use water and detergents as the cleaning solution.

White
Paper
Cleaning press parts is a key variable affecting the productivity and
profits of any printing operation. Successful printers need to utilize
press parts cleaning methods that are safe, efficient, and cost-effective.
This White Paper offers an overview of the primary issues associated with
press parts cleaning, and discusses the technologies which have emerged
to meet these changing needs.
Testing
Utilizing our in house testing lab, PRI can perform both bench and
pilot scale test trials on actual customer supplied ink or coating samples
to validate the cleaning process.
